I ALMOST KILLED MY DAUGHTER (KANYE WEST CONFESSES)
Kanye West broke into tears during the maiden rally of his presidential campaign in Charleston, South Carolina, on July 19, after telling the crowd that he and wife Kim Kardashian considered an abortion before having their first child.
In an hour-long question-and-answer session which ranged in topic from prescription painkiller abuse to race relations and gun control, West’s longest monologues were reserved for the issue of abortion.
Video of the session at the Exquis Event Center shows West, with the number 2020 written in his hair and wearing body armor, making repeated religious references during his diatribe.
“In the Bible it says thou shalt not kill,” he said, going on to suggest that an act of divine intervention helped to change his mind.
“My mom saved my life," an increasingly emotional West continued, "There would have been no Kanye West, because my dad was too busy!”
Kanye had earlier become a worshiper of Christ after confessing being ministered by the Holy spirit and has ever since been seen on different occasions doing gospel music.
Kanye West is working on making amends with Kim Kardashian. Over the weekend, the rapper seemed to move into a better headspace, issuing a public apology to his wife of six years via Twitter. And while West’s behavior has been erratic over the last few years, a source close to the couple insists this apology is the real deal — he has sincere “regrets” over the things he said about Kardashian during his series of outbursts.
According to an inside source, West knows that he messed up. “He definitely understands that he upset Kim. He feels very bad about it. It’s obvious he still loves Kim,” the source told People in a report published Sunday. Additionally, he feels remorse over “sharing such private details about his wife and their personal life. West began working toward reconciliation on Saturday, taking to Twitter to express regret over his behavior.
